Plant Medicines

The benefits and properties of

Plant Medicines & Sacred Sexuality

Plant medicines  vary vastly in their energetic properties and impact on neurotransmitters, brain wave activity, sensation, and other systemic effects on the body.  Most of them can be used to enhance sacred sexuality if dosed correctly, and in the optimal set and setting.   Read more below for a summary of benefits, and the book will make a much deeper dive including erotica stories to provide a greater level of understanding on how it can enhance the flow with your lover.  Of course, some plant medicines such as ayahuasca are in a realm that needs to be held in a shamanic circle and are not recommended in the sacred sexuality context.

The "magic" of Psilocybin!"

Psilocybin

Psilocybin has been used for healing for over 6,000 years ago, including evidence that it’s been used by humans on every continent except antarctica.  There are over 180 species identified at this time and some hypothesize that spores may have been seeded by asteroids hitting earth billions of years ago.  Pretty far out right?!

This amazing fungi is the most sustainable, economical, and effective ways to enter into the flow of psychedelic sacred sexuality.  It’s safe, reasonably easy to grow, and easy enough to find a friend who grows to donate to your new endeavors. Psilocybin use will soon become as mainstream as going to yoga class.  Microdosing is trending so much, that I rarely find a day that it’s not discussed in person or online. Microdosing is a helpful modality for improving mood, reducing anxiety, improving creativity and flow.

At some point, if you haven’t, you’ll need to macrodose and drop in with your partner in a safe set and setting with initial intents of simply enjoying the journey together side by side.  Once you’ve done this several times, you may be called to take it into the flow of sacred sexuality.  Finding the dose that isn’t too intense, but allows you to be present with enhanced sensation, light to medium geometry and color is ideal.  For me that’s typically in the 2 gram range.  Everyone varies on the dose needed and experimentation will be needed.

Once you both find the sweet spot with the dose and type of psilocybin your sensations and intuition of flowing energy through tantric massage, oral sex and intercourse will be hugely amplified.  Passion will flow more deeply, and orgasms will be intensified.  More detail on this and discussions of other plant and human made molecules to alchemize and enhance will come in the book.  Erotic passages to help you understand potential flows will be included…

Expand and radiate your energy body with Huachima!

Huachima (san pedro)

Huachuma (San Pedro) is an entheogenic cacti with properties that profoundly connect you to nature, Pachamama and your lover through its heart opening and root chakra activation. The psychoactive mescaline, a phenethylamine in the same class as MDMA promotes an increase in dopamine and serotonin levels. 5HT2A receptors are specifically impacted. These, combined with the release of various alkaloids present in the cacti tea, engenders heightened tactile sensations, gentle euphoria, an intense flow of kundalini energy, and visionary experiences that unveil vibrant auras, intricate geometric patterns, and vivid colors in plants.

The sacred journey of Huachuma is classically embraced for 14-hours, with the final four hours being particularly conducive to sacred sexual experiences. It is recommended to embark on this journey by 9 am, allowing ample time to immerse oneself in nature, engaging in activities such as hiking, yoga, and meditation. As the sun sets, the enchantment reaches its peak, and the intimate act of making love becomes a transcendent and magical culmination. Such experiences will be vividly portrayed in the forthcoming book. Hot springs can add an extra dimension to the set/setting at the end of the day too.

Historically, this cactus, affectionately referred to as Grandfather, holds a lineage dating back 10,000 years to the Andes. Huachuma thrives in the wild, predominantly gracing the western slopes of the Andes in Ecuador and Peru, flourishing at altitudes ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 feet. Additionally, many individuals cultivate Huachuma sustainably for its ornamental and medicinal purposes. Initially employed in ancient rituals by the Chavin civilization, it was later adopted and cultivated by the Quechua natives and continues to be used ceremonially by Huachumero shamans. During the early years of Spanish colonization, the Roman Catholic Church discovered that this sacred cactus facilitated a connection with higher consciousness via St. Peter, hence its name “San Pedro,” symbolizing a key to the heavens. Fearing the direct connection of commoners to the divine, the Church suppressed access to Huachuma as much as possible.

Benefits of

Marijuana

Marijuana is known for its ability to act as a powerful psychedelic at optimal doses, providing a range of enhanced experiences, including heightened libido and increased skin sensation throughout the body, particularly in the sexual organs during intercourse. This makes it a plant of significant interest in sacred sexuality and alchemical exploration. In my personal exploration, I have found that edible forms of indica strains offer the best flow for intimacy. However, it’s important to remember that like all plant medicines, finding the optimal dosage, strains, and even blends may be necessary. Some edibles offer varied release time depending on the formulation, so read the labels carefully.

When using marijuana, it is essential to start with a safe low dose and be aware that the onset of effects may take up to an hour, depending on the specific formulation. As THC is released from edible or smoked marijuana, it binds to the CB1 cannabinoid receptor in the brain, leading to a downstream release of dopamine. This neurotransmitter plays a crucial role in enhancing libido and intensifying the sense of pleasure between couples. Additionally, THC can boost serotonin levels and affect other neurotransmitters and neuropeptides, contributing to an elevated mood and the overall “high” sensation experienced by individuals and couples.

Beyond its impact on sexual experiences, marijuana can serve as a valuable plant medicine for decompression after a stressful day, allowing couples to seamlessly transition into tantric practices and lovemaking. In interviews with others, I’ve noted that those who have had previous experience with other psychedelics, such as LSD or mushrooms, often perceive more geometric patterns and vibrant colors when using THC compared to those who solely use marijuana. It’s possible that these other psychedelics have rewired their brains, enhancing their capacity to perceive visual phenomena induced by THC.

For those interested in further exploration, there are options to synergize marijuana with other plant medicines like rapeh, which the book delves into extensively. This comprehensive exploration aims to provide a deeper understanding of marijuana’s potential and how it can be combined with other plant allies to enhance various aspects of human experience, including sacred sexuality.

Benefits of

MDA/Sassafras

MDA (methylenedioxyaphetamine) is a naturally occurring molecule derived from sassafras oil. It is known for its effects on the heart and is often considered a gentler empathogen compared to MDMA. While MDA provides a more intense high with increased energy and visual effects, it may not induce the same profound sense of love and connection as MDMA. The duration of its effects is typically longer than MDMA, and it can cause side effects such as sweating, elevated heart rate, and temperature fluctuations. For those who prefer a substance derived from nature, MDA may be a preferred choice over the fully synthetic MDMA. Combining MDA with a cup of Blue Lotus herb as a tea or in a tincture can create a synergistic experience.

During the later stages of a journey with this plant medicine, incorporating substances like psilocybin or Rapeh can enhance the sense of unity and deep connection, especially when connecting your third eyes by placing your foreheads together. This also enhances brain-wave coherence between lovers.

Similar to MDMA, MDA may temporarily reduce sexual function in men, but it usually returns after 4-6 hours. This can offer an opportunity for partners to focus on activities such as couples’ meditation, deep loving embraces, kissing, tantric massage, and other forms of foreplay. Playing sound bowls on the root chakra can be particularly activating and enhance the experience. More to come on this natural molecule in the book. Unfortunately like many other plant medicines, it’s not legal to consume in the US. Be sure to use plant medicines and synthetics only in areas that legal consumption is permitted. The Netherlands, Portugal, and Switzerland currently allow it.

Benefits of

Blue lotus herb

Blue Lotus (Nyphaea Caerulea or Blue Water Lily) is a remarkable herb known for its numerous benefits in the realm of sacred sexuality and overall well-being. In ancient Egyptian times, it was commonly consumed as a tea for its aphrodisiac properties, but it also offers various other advantages such as mood elevation, stress reduction, and enhanced blood flow to the genital area.

For those interested in exploring Blue Lotus further, online options provide tinctures, dried flowers, and there are some herbalists that will make tinctures combined with MDA, offering enhanced ways to experience its effects. To prepare a tea using dried Blue Lotus flowers, begin with 1-2 grams and allow it to steep for approximately 20 minutes before consumption. If desired, honey can be added for additional sweetness. It’s important to note that the optimal dosage may vary, as with other plant medicines, so some experimentation may be necessary. Seeking guidance from an herbalist can provide further insight and personalized advice.

To complement the tea experience, Blue Lotus is also available as an aromatherapy option. Bring this scent into your bedroom for an olfactory stimulation in addition to the tea, or with other plant medicines.

Benefits of

Rapeh (Rapé, Hapé)

Rapeh, also known as “hapi” or “snuff,” is an herbal powdered mixture that combines tobacco, tree barks, and medicinal plants. This traditional snuff has been used by indigenous South American tribes for generations and holds great cultural significance. It plays a prominent role in shamanic practices, particularly in Ayahuasca ceremonies, and is also used independently for its medicinal and healing properties.

The administration of Rapeh involves blowing the mixture into the nostrils using a tube called a Tepi, which can be done by a shaman or a trusted friend. Alternatively, one can use a Kuripe to self-administer the snuff. The primary active ingredient in Rapeh is nicotine (from tobacco powder), which stimulates the release of dopamine, norepinephrine, and acetylcholine. When combined with the other medicinal ingredients, it produces sensations of euphoria, pleasure, reward, and motivation. Certain formulations of Rapeh may contain harmala alkaloids, which act as MAO inhibitors, elevating serotonin and other neurotransmitters.

When a robust dose of Rapeh is blown into the nose, it typically induces a burning sensation in the upper nasal passages, causing the eyes to water and the nose to run for approximately 5-10 minutes. It is common to experience dizziness and instability on one’s feet, so it is advisable to remain seated in a safe location during the experience.

Rapeh can be utilized to enhance sacred sexual flow. By facing and embracing each other while engaging in eye contact, individuals can connect deeply and tap into the euphoric effects of the blend, while also grounding themselves to the earth (Pachamama). Touching foreheads and aligning the “third eye” chakras can foster an intimate connection between partners. This can serve as an entry point to foreplay or as a finale after making love. If desired, individuals can enjoy 1-3 rounds of Rapeh, but it is recommended to space them apart by at least 30 minutes.

It is important to approach the use of Rapeh with respect and mindfulness, recognizing its cultural significance and potential effects on the mind and body. It is advisable to seek guidance from experienced practitioners and engage in safe practices while using this traditional snuff.
